Tilly is an enthusiastic member of her community who received an official commendation as a top five finalist in Mornington Peninsula Shire's Australia Day Awards as Young Citizen of the Year in 2019 for her community service and fundraising endeavours.

She also was featured in Mornington Peninsula Magazine in 2019 and Mornington Peninsula Newspaper in 2018 for her work within the community.
